What is required to teach it, how long is the course, and where will it be taught?
Assuming that it is Linux 1 class, it is a very basic class on file systems, distros, commands, gui and apps. Final Exam should be 3 hours long, installing Linux on a laptop - either single boot or dual boot - and complete with needed apps as required on the test.
