Robert, I'm going to need your expertise on that thursday night, along with Fernando, in order to talk to Megazell (actually this think his name is rafi) and sort out what we can do. He has money generating Linux based educational projects and at this point, I think we need to frame what is possible for us and what is not. We all have had a lot of experience in this and we had gotton oh so close to an launching educational program, even within the public schools themselves.... and trust me, I remember the majority of the problems faced.
Lets see what he has actually on the ground. I'm sure it is FAR from ideal, but we need a boot strap right now which implies a program that is not only sustainable, but revenue driving so we can get our organizers some income so we don't starve....
I need you guys at CCNY on the 17th. I need your experience and your critical thinking. I also need you to be ready to glad hand.... god knows we are all crappy at that, but this guy is not our enemy and he might have a path.
