I don't understand the above, I also don't kow what this has to do with your original question concerning the mod_rewrite module. :-/

*sigh* I assure you I was purely trying to be helpful.
I asked what you were running because it was never stated; I do Debian development and I was trying to figure out how to get the mod_rewrite module working for you.
