Well, my configuration has about 2 dozen customized c and perl apache modules and would not be prepackaged
Just saying it because I'm getting flack and I'm actually trying to get something done.
As for mod rewrite, I can just compile it and load it. Its BS extension though and fuck it. I want to handle the problem more flexbily in mod_perl
