No, I don't have control of these things. I just fill prescriptions and the bottles I use are not from the trash and are clean white stock bottles from the manufacture that are labeled with expiration dates and lot numbers always.

Pills are not "missing", what ever that would that mean? There was no accusation of unlabeled bottles of drugs. And the expired meds were separated.
What they said was that there was tablets in the garbage can. Strangely enough, that is where we would normally through out tablets that say, fall on the floor and get stepped on. Maybe I'm not supposed to do that but that would be news to me. There is a private trash carrier who is supposed to legally dispose of these things.
They complained that the mortar and pestle, which is only in the store because state law written in the 1930's insist on it, was dirty and that the area under the sink were it was sitting, was dirty. It wasn't any more or less dirty than any other sink area, but what does that have to do with me? I'm just a once a day week staff member and I have nothing to do with trash pick up, the ceiling tiles or the basement. And, FWIW, none of this constitutes a need for an a use of ***emergency authority*** to shut down medicaid and to exempt the individual pharmacists and the cashier from working in any facility that takes medicaid.
I'm only explaining this, Kevin, because I know that you are very dependent on Pharmacy services. If you're using that Rite-Aid on Seaview Avenue, I think it was originally Dial Drugs, but I'm not sure, but I've worked there and I can tell you that that store is far worse than this one. I had to walk through that store and pull all the expired meds from the shelves on the one day I worked there because they were everywhere. They had a leaking ceiling that was dripping dirty water in the back of the pharmacy, and the bathroom was disgusting. I have no idea what was happening with their basement. The store next door used to have rats down there.
But do you really think that in a pharmacy with maybe 10 thousand bottles of drugs and someone goes through every single draw and takes pictures of every bottle, that you won't find an occasional expired drug, or a label on a stock bottle which might have been scratched?
In any event, these would be events that would require administrative warnings, and maybe some fines, not the use of emergency powers to blacklist, not just the pharmacy, but all the workers so that they can't work somewhere else.
