Hiring managers want IT pros with Linux skills and they're willing to pay handsomely.
The 2014 Linux Jobs Report, produced by Dice.com and The Linux Foundation, finds a shortage of Linux pros at the same time there's an increased demand for those skills.
"This year’s report shows there is unlimited career advancement for developers and systems administrators who contribute to and seek out learning opportunities for Linux," notes Jim Zemlin, executive director at The Linux Foundation. "The future is a bright one for professionals who know Linux. "
