Description Job Summary
Bicycle sharing is a sustainable, healthy, and community-based transport option that enhances urban livability and mobility. New York City Bike Share is excited to announce the beginning of its operations in New York City with up to 10,000 bikes and 600 stations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
New York City Bike Share is seeking bike enthusiasts to fill multiple positions as Customer Service/Call Center Agents to join an exciting opportunity in a BRAND NEW segment of the Transportation network.
Training will be provided to energetic candidates that posses a friendly team-player spirit with the ability to work irregular hours in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Able to work in a call-center environment that provides customer and client services. Works alone or with other Call Center Agents under the guidance of Call Center Managers. Follows specific outline per training instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job. Assists with various customer service projects as assigned.
Availability Requirements
Full-time and Part-Time Customer Service/Call Center Agents needed. Full-time shifts available Monday thru Friday-rotating eight hour shifts. Part-time shift available Saturday and Sunday and designated Holidays-rotating eight hour shifts. High performing individuals with the right attitude will have the opportunity to stay as part of the Call Center Team for ongoing operations.

Fluent Bilinguals (Spanish and English) are preferred, and you must have a High School diploma or a GED to apply. Also, you have to meet one of the three criterions listed here:
Minimum of 1 year call center experience OR Minimum of 1 year of general customer service experience; either corporate or retail setting OR Minimum of 1 year of general customer service experience; either corporate or retail setting OR experience. Ability to follow directions in a team environment. Excitement and interest in bike sharing a must. Must be able work in the US without sponsorship.
