There is a whole cascade of problems once your patting down 600,000 people a year. On the face of it, I'm fine with harrasing 16 year old kids and others for carrying pot. They don't need to frisk the equal of the City of Milwaukee to do that. They know where there drug dealers are and how to harras smalltime pot users.
Once your patting everyone down though, the power of the state become STIFFLING. The governments ability to harrass you and strip you of your humanity is far worse great than your ability to cope and live a your life freely.
I'm sure I can have a vast bulk of people arrested for a ton of minute infractions and choke the courts up all day, from sales tax invasion, parking tickets, jay walking, smoking in the boys room, public nudity, you name it.
Remmber, this is the Mayor who when it was shown that the Department of Health was flat out HARRASSING resurants in the outer boroughs, complained that the tickets for violations didn't cost enough because in his twisted little mind the NYC Government (Not to mentional all the other jurisidctions) are ALL FUCKING GOOD and the ULTIMATE determiners of all that is Good and Bad in this universe... so help them God..... Ahmen.
Bloomberg wants jurisdiction that God doesn't apply for himself in instant punishment - instant oversite .... instantly... all the time, for the good of the people!
Government Abuse, error, overreach? Never from our 3 term Mayor's government.
