Esssentially, the job is jumping when I say jump :).
Pulling drugs, putting them away, cleaning and maintaining the counter (swabbing everything down), jumping on the retail counter from time to time, keeping track of missing prescriptions and events, being an extra set of eyes, and most of all, being alert and having your brain on.
When I'm filling a prescription, everything else gets closed out and it is important, at least to me, that technician can handle routine things like a thinking person when I'm focused on solivng a problem.
