This is a reminder for the event detailed below.
WORKSHOP / HACKFEST Date: Tuesday, April 9, 2013 Time: 6:00pm Duration: 2 hours Location: NY Public Library Hudson Park Branch, 66 Leroy St., NY NY 10014
Topics: Our first workshop of 2013 will be focused on the Raspberry Pi. Talks include: an introduction the Raspberry Pi, writing OS images to SD cards, and how to program for the Pi. Due to demand, we will also have a discussion on CyanogenMod, and how to run it on your Android devices.
Bring something to discuss! There's a blackboard, chalk, and Internet access. Notebook computers are helpful but not required. Bring books! Bring hardware! Bring software! Bring friends! Bring tales and stories! All levels of experience from totally new to experienced welcome!
After workshops, the coordinators go out for dinner at Super Noodle, located at 70 7th Avenue South, just up the block from the library. Feel free to join us for some lively dinner conversations!

We meet in the basement. Enter the library and head to the back. If the door is closed when you arrive you can ask the manager of the library for the keys to the room if you're comfortable opening up the basement, or you can wait for some of the others to arrive. If you arrive after 7:00 PM and the library front door is closed, ring the doorbell to be let in.
Description: We will continue meeting on a bi-weekly basis at the Hudson Library at 66 Leroy St New York, NY 10014.
It is helpful, but not necessary to have a notebook computer. There's WiFi in the library for your convenience.
