I don't agree with that, but I'm in a community that spends a lot of time in the Bais Medresh. I'll never forget the time that the block swept Evan off his feet and paraded him around, while he was protesting that it was me moving into the house, and not him.

The simple fact is that I've lived here most of my life by choice and quite proudly of it, through thick and thin. From what I've seen, the city is tipping back into a period of high crime, homelessness on the streets, chaos and filth. I'm to old to live through the 1970's again. And I need to move on to my second phase of life to life in a place where I feel that I can matter more under less stress. I'd have been gone already if not for the legal issues I'm still stuck in.
I'd also like to get remarried.
