Apply Today for Temporary Openings at Cablevision!
There are over 100 temporary positions available IMMEDIATELY in Nassau County! Please come to Cablevision's offices on Tuesday, November 6th at 198 Grumman Road, Bethpage, NY 11714 between 9 AM and 3 PM and ask for Solomon Page. To qualify for this position you need a reliable car, a valid driver's license and a cell phone. The job is to monitor (from your car) generators that are being used at various locations during the Cablevision hurricane recovery project. You will NOT be interfacing with the generator, adding fuel, etc. The ONLY action you are to take is that if the generator fails or runs out of gas you will call a number provided to you by Cablevision. This job is a minimum of 3 12-hour shifts a week (this is a 24/7 operation). Any overtime (over 40 hours will be paid as required by law). The job sites are in Nassau County and you will be given your schedule from Cablevision.
IMPORTANT- there will be quite a few people filling out applications so it is IMPERATIVE that you bring a pen, your valid driver's license and your Social Security card (OR a passport will do alone).
Again, this application process will be taking place starting at 9 AM Tuesday, NOVEMBER 6th and will continue until all candidates have been seen and assigned.
