If you're not familiar with AppNexus, we're an Ad Tech company that you may not have heard of, but you've definitely seen our services. We're handling close to 800k requests per second, and serving over 8 Billion ads per day. Each of these transactions generates a bit of data, and we're generating over 15 TB of new data per day?all of which is being handled on our own infrastructure broken up into 4 data centers across the world. Our API's are the links that allow our clients to access the data that?s relevant to them, while maintaining the security of all the data that we're working with. Tech wise, our API team is working with LAMP, but we're pretty open to any language, so long as you're OK working with PHP.
