When calling the customer assistance phone number at 1-866-579-7172, a supervisor named Cameron confirmed that I purchased nothing from them and that they provided to me no service. 26 times she refused to answer the question, "Will you reverse the charge on my account, yes or no" and she refused to answer the question. Furthermore she had said that she has no access to anyone else in the company, and then corrected herself and said she had no access to anyone whom she could transfer me to or to call about the matter, and then reverted to the statement that she has no access to anyone else in the company. I asked for the legal department and she reiterated this statement.
I believe that Netflix is in gross violation of California State Laws with regard to such matters. The Website insists on your credit card information to view the site with an assurance that they will not charge you. Then they charge you. And then they will not correct their actions.
