The main reason seems to be that they don't give these guys a chance, inste= ad bringing in the Shane Spencer/Fernand Tatis/Moses Alou type players, whi= ch they use incorrectly anyway! This year they had no choice but to do wha= t I have wanted them to do (more or less) for years now. Sure they have li= ttle chance of winning a World Series, but they are fun to watch now, relat= ively-speaking. Too many "fans" seem to prefer dreaming of a highly unlike= ly WS victory than in enjoying the game. The major "issue" for me now is T= erry's inconsistent managing. For example, Tejada gets moved from top to b= ottom in the lineup, back and forth, but Ike, who these days looks as bad a= s the worst Little League player I've ever seen, gets to always hit cleanup= ? That is absurd, and it puts too much pressure on the young player. In l= ight of this and other major mistakes he's admitted to (such as not telling= his young pitchers last season that they need to pace themeselves), it lea= ds one to ask: Where did he learn how to manage? -- end of forwarded message --
