He didn't say any such thing, Ron. What he is saying that we had an interesting and difficult interaction with Sunny previously as well. He's not making any wholesale assault on his character and we would have accepted him back as an NYLXS as participant without a second thought if he wanted to do the work. He decided he didn't like out decision making process and walked away. He continued to make decisions and work anyway, and NEVER walked away from the process.
That has nothing to do with the events at NYLUG, either private or public.
I don't give a shit about the "Character" of the NYLUG board, and in the future, neither will ANYONE ELSE. NY:UG can die as far as I'm concerned, and who would care. It's primary purpose has been as a dog and pony show for a decade and a promotional sceme for a few peoples individual careers.
What they'll care about, for anyone who really ever chooses to get involved more than sitting in a chair in the audience or hanging onto IRC, will be how the organization is governed, and it is going to be governed, IMO, like shit because the "board" will be entrenched and will take nearly a decade to remove them if the active membership are ever dissatisfied. If you had the rules being cooked up for their current charter, a coup would have been impossible. Changing the board over all would be entirely impossible except over continual effort over 3 years and while the board was fighting you. CONGRADS. And the reason for that is because YOU would rather have a fit than to act responsibly.
Frankly, I'm done with this topic. I have bad health issues I need to take care of, I'm battling homelessness, and suffering from terrible personal losses...and in a few months, it might not even matter with regard to myself. But YOU guys could have had something better if you'd had simply acted in good faith.
