Initially I wanted to get to the NYLUG charter meeting on that day, but
I'm honestly having second thoughts on the whole thing at this point.
After the initial ruckus, it seems that all the diverse voices that
would have made the process contentous have now fallen aside. The last
meeting had essentially just the portion of the leadership of NYLUG
which was originally in opposition of Ron et al, plus Rob Memnes and
David.... and a lawyer.
So, if the only individuals who want to do the work are of that like
minded group, and a lawyer, then they really don't need me or us any
more. They can do this in a room with their lawyer, and what do I care?
Meanwhile NYLXS has its own problems I need to review and get some stuff
done with. And I have a huge stack of personal problems it resolve.
