And AFAIK Asus seems to have abandoned the idea of preinstalling Linux
on their Eee PC line.
We had this talk on Thursday regarding OEM support for Linux on laptops, and
the general opinion is that unless OEMs can learn to start giving people choice,
and that Linux is here, is not queer, and is here to stay, it'll never happen.
By the way, Ruben, have you any advice or support you can offer for NYLUG?
We're in a pretty bad pickle right now. The mailing lists will tell you more.
