Like Kevin said, the only answer available to you in 2011 involves go= ing
over them one by one and at least sorting them into folders (within a

I got over 40,000 photographs sp= read all over the hard drive.
For starters, at one= point I was at least smart enough to create a script that linked them all = to a single directory, but there is no application that does what is really= needed, which is to show them as icons with a one click means of renaming = them.
I'm going to end up writing it, maybe as a gimp plu= g in.
