For starters, at one point I was at least smart enough to create a script that linked them all to a single directory, but there is no application that does what is really needed, which is to show them as icons with a one click means of renaming them.
I'm going to end up writing it, maybe as a gimp plug in.
This started when I began with my latest web project at
