Long Island needs NYC to balance out the vile republican brainwashing.
It's also where most of those Long Islanders work. They'd rather have the
taxes the New York City/Long Island would have rather than the taxes they'd
have to pay crossing state lines. A New York City state would make those Long
Island staters pay, big time! :)
