I have UPS's on them. That isn't it. The viewsonic seems to have suffered from electronic failure, maybe my fault. I cleaned the screen with windex and the screen on the bottom seemed to get a blotch in it as the fluid pooled on the bottom of the screen. 4 months later, now when the energy save feature blanks the screen, it doesn't pwoer back up.
I've had CRTs for 15 years.
