to major sites like MSNBC.com and MSN.com. Building on its trusted online
brand, the first magazine for travelers seeking smart smart-luxury values,
delivers valuable, up-to-the-minute travel deals and destination content
through a variety of products, including its weekly e-newsletter, the
website, and email bulletins. They offer the casual work environment of a
small/medium-sized company, and there are attractive career growth
opportunities. We are seeking energetic, smart, and creative individuals to
join our staff.
This role will play an integral part in creatively expanding the features
and functionality of the travel section, an interactive, personalized deals
and advise engine. You will have the opportunity to contribute on the
product and it's development with the goal of revolutionizing the way in
which consumer's research, interact, plan, and book travel.
Qualifications:
* Soup-to-nuts skill set from PHP, Python, and MySQL to JavaScript, HTML,
and CSS
* Command line Linux and Apache experience
* Familiarity with Google, Facebook, Twitter, and other APIs
* Strong communication skills and a pragmatic ability to get things done
* Love and respect for open source software
