These kind of mini desktops are cool I wish they were around when I worked for the school system because the make fantastic Xterms/ thin clients at a low price and because of their low power requirements they could the existing power outlets in a typical class room could easily accommodate one on every desk handle, however the one thing this model seems to be missing is network boot capability. Also one more thing to note the gigabit network interface on these things is over kill. Since they are 32bit its not mathematically possible for it to handle true gagabit bandwidth. The one thing that is missing still for an ideal digital class room is a good desk with an integrated monitor. I've thought along time about how such a desk should be designed. the best solution i came up with would be to have a vertical plexiglass panel in the front and do some sort of hud style projection onto it that would be visible from both sides so the teacher can whats on the students screens while they work. also the reason why plexiglass is that it could be made to be relativity easy and cheap to replace in the case of vandalism or accidental damage, further more there wouldn't be any risk of shattered glass which would make them safer.
