Even more importantly, the software, electrical, computer and other
engineers and scientists working at Microsoft are always schooled in and on
UNIX. Never Windows. I remember working at BSQUARE (WindowsCE) in Redmond
and hearing nothing but smug and cynical complaints from developers saying
that all and any Windows OSes are eye candy and crappy and weak and stupid.
(This is why WindowsNT command line executables copied UNIX commands. UNIX
developers!) I am sure WindowsLinux would be a great, but unspoken,
accomplishment for many Windows developers. Ha!

Close, but not quite. Your now going to read one of the Ruben seminal
writings, so pay close attention. They are in the "Then you Lose Position".
Microsoft is have big troubles in its business plans as we move forward and
they are getting worried. The news this weeks is that Apple carved out
nearly
a 10% chunck in the market sales this week. Furthermore, Google is openly
competing with a GNU based OS, and Netcraft has reported that MS based Web
Servers is stalled. Corperate profits are down, Large PC sales is down and
the
embeded space is not a proven profit source.
Meanwhile, MS is being facebooked and twittered to death and has failed to
adapt as well as say... HP.
They got problems and they are now eyeing GNU systems as an asset that
hasn't
yet been properly leveraged. This is the first step to the coming Microsoft
Linux, an enevitablility which I predicted prior to our Egov-OS action in
Washington. And remember ... they are LOADED with GNU engineers which they
have hired over the years in they're attempt to defeat Linux.
