well it is using the Linux kernel
granted the rest of the OS is mostly in house built however when moving
to a larger platform like a PC its hard to imagine they wouldn't
leverage the wide range of GNU software. besides I cant see them not
using GNU libC or GCC.
its all a question of how GNU is it.
