For those who are wondering why I'm been so agitated about the MTA of late, aside from the obvious, reead this email I got.
These vultures want nothingbut to give our Bridges to the MTA and pretend tha sending 15.2 billion dollars on the LIRR connection to Grand Central to be rational sending without which the Subway system would sli back into the 1970's Its nonsense.
Please call Krugers office today and suort him and tell him to break up the MTA.

Dear Ruben,
Tomorrow - March 25th - is the deadline for lawmakers to decide the fate of New York's transit riders, but they still haven't agreed on a plan to fully and fairly fund the MTA.
The Ravitch/Silver plans ask all sectors to contribute to keep our city on the move - but a handful of senators are holding out against it. YOUR senator is one of the "Fare Hike Four," stubbornly fighting for a plan that, according to Reuters, would force the MTA to raise fares by 17%! If our leaders don't pass an MTA funding plan today, we're going to face a transit doomsday - paying $104 for a monthly Metrocard, saying goodbye to entire subway lines and dozens of bus routes, and experiencing longer waits and more crowding.
This is your last chance to be heard! Call your state senator right now:
1. For Senator Kruger, call (518) 455-2460.
2. Tell the staffer who answers:
* I represent the majority of your constituents who will be severely impacted by the MTA's 23% fare hike and drastic bus and subway service cuts;
* New Yorkers demand a plan - like the Ravitch/Silver plans - that includes funding from ALL sectors, including businesses, drivers, and transit riders;
* We must not only prevent doomsday fare hikes and service cuts but also cover the costs of maintaining and improving the transit system.
3. Hit reply to this email to let us know how your call went! Please don't skip this step - this information is very valuable to us as we talk to your lawmakers in Albany!
After you call, spread the word! Forward this email to your friends and family and encourage them to look up their state senators at http://ga3.org/ct/WdX_u441OSpU/ and use the message above to call in their support for a plan like the Ravitch/Silver plans.
Your call can help keep the transit system working for all New Yorkers, protecting our environment and our economy, even during difficult times. We all benefit from public transit - we should all do our part to fully and fairly fund the MTA.
Today is the day. Let's make sure our decision makers know that New Yorkers won't accept a transit doomsday!
Sincerely,
Michael O'Loughlin Campaign for New York's Future
P.S. After your call, check out the Transportation Alternatives' MTA Telethon video - and find out about the event they'll be holding tomorrow in Union Square. http://ga3.org/ct/WpX_u441OSph/ --------------------------------------------------
