I could be wrong about this (read that twice) but I think the
fascination with Mono is largely limited to the kinds of projects Ruben
rightly looks down on (ie: pointless corporate stuff) and the Migel de
Icaza Fanboy Club. I know Ruben is mistaken about cross-platform apps
(I'm living proof and know plenty of others), but I suspect he takes a
dim view of Mono that I probably share almost completely. I think
nearly all Gnome work that anyone cares about is done in C. Read first
sentence again.
