With GNU, everything is about access and choice. With Apple, everything is about dogma and marketing. The systems are stable enough because they have mostly a Free Software back end, but the user experience is all glitter and restrictive at every turn. The minions that use apple are often educated but inexperienced drones who never think outside of the box, The company takes their users up to the sight of the goal line in usability and then cuts them off from real access and development or administrative usability. But plastered on the eye candy, hipsters can't get enough of sex appeal.
Apple users are like rich boys who date dumb blonds. They look good on the passenger side of your Ferreri, but you can all but forget about the after dinner conversation.
The machines are incredibly stupid from the ground up,
