You Tell me.. We've held Installfests and no one shows up, we have events with barely minimal or no people showing, membership drives are a no-go, and the economy is getting crappier by the day. If history is a good teacher, we may get more NYLXS participation as more workers are displaced from their employment positions and free time increases and $$ decreases. Truly a real $hitty situation ........

When the Internet Bubble burst, there was a lot of volunteer help
available from the unemployed and under-employed. So far, I'm not=
seeing it this time, but I hold out hope....
Anyway, this should be a *great* year for Free Software in Business.
But note that with Windows 7 being successfully spun as the Vista you
never knew you wanted, and apparently some people getting to like that
hideous ribbon UI, the window of opportunity here may be smaller than it > appears in the mirror.
