To be honest Michael, I don't believe your harrassed this much or in
that much fear. I will remind you, however, that I was attached on
Stone Avenue and Belmont just last week when I was on the street for
not more than 10 minutes.
Meanwhile I had two cops over at the house 2 days ago, and they were
terrific, and black as a matter of fact.
You will NEVER convince me that your not more at risk from your
neighbors than the police. First, there is no statistics to come even
close to backing that. Furthermore, I grew up right on the East NY
Canarsie boarder, and went to school at PS 306 on Vermont St right near
Pennsylvania Avenue. And from the age of 5 I was constantly the victem
of Black racists, from the earliest age, beaten, kicked, robbed, punched,
gang beaten, spit at, harrassed, cursed at, stabbed and had guns pulled
out for the sole and only reason of being white. And this was every
single day without relief.
And the best part was the guns. Guns were all over the neighborhood and
in the classroom even at the age of 5 and 6, and the result of death,
destruction, enstrangment, and poverty, all of which was completely
unchecked until Guilliani.
Its crap, and frankly dishonest.
I suggest you read "Fortress of Solitude" by Letham.
