I have been stopped by them many times. Some they had a valid reason some they did not. Statistics is one thing. Thinking is this the day I get shot by the police is another. And no I do not think about getting shot in a drive by or by thugs. Just out of curiosity, have you ever been attacked or harassed by the police? I'm also no longer impressed with the NYPD. I have a friend who works there and he can barely tolerate it. On the other hand, Ruben has a point, statistically, your odds of getting their attention in the first place are pretty low.
