Ruben there are agency's and departments who's job is to detect and take out threats no matter who is President. If you read the 9/11 Commission Report (a whitewash from my point of view) you will see that those in the trenches did their job, it was those who prepared the information going up the line, that ignored the information that did not fit their political idea of what was going on. What is needed is for the mid and higher level personnel to report and act on the information based on what is happening, not wishful thinking. yes this includes the President
