No one is interested in a an honest President. In fact, that is the one thing people do not want. An honest president would hold us to a real standard, he would tell us to get off our ass and make a difference. He would tell us that grand sweeping plans don't work in saving the world, only a thousand thousand small changes we make with everyone we know. He would tell us we have to do hard things to make a future.
Obama gives us wine, roses and poetry. He's a lot more appealing. So the public will vote for him.
