My Viao Picture Book has about the same size hard drive and ram and ran SuSE and I never had space problems. Two of the biggest files are the Debian caches and then the UNIONFS won't let me dump the entire /usr/share/docs/ directory, a whopping 30 megs which is completely useless on that device. So it's just fustrating. I need to put it in single user mode and remove a lot of unecessary stuff, including all of SAMBA, a bunch of KDE crap and so forth.
