You hate to make installfests, you love to point out that I should have

It's not the size that is killing it, it is the unionfs that is not
permitting me to jettison a ton of stuff I don't need.
If I rebuilt it with Slack 10 on a Reiser FS, I'd have a ton of room
(or if I didn't try to download all of debian).
