So use a touchscreen. That has nothing to do with the os and everything
to do with the hardware. There are also trackballs. The mouse works very
well for most people, but there are alternatives.

That's just hardware. Besides, well thought out user interfaces provide
keyboard alternatives to the mouse.

Most situations require files. Database document storage would complicat
things unnecessarily, in most cases. However, if you need an application
for document storage, you could use a document management system, or
adapt a content management system.

I have a tablet pc for that. These are hardware issues. The hardware
exists. Development has been spurred by demand. But, if there ain't no
dollars there, don't expect this stuff to miraculously appear.

If most users aren't using X11, where is the profit in developing for

BTW, those can be done as web apps.

Without good marketing, it'll just flounder and die. Nothing sells
