Yeah - I'm not going to do that because I find that to be imoral in principle. I spoke to the kid on the subway hope and he made clear that its too difficult to get anything done with regard to promotion and education with the ensemble and/or school. I would never ever sign such a contract.
I don't have time to educate anyone right now on the damage such use of copyright poses to public education, not to mention the damage it does to promotion of individual artists and schools, but I'm going to back off this project for other artists and educational programs that permit collaberation and education.
I'm cc'ing Michael on this. We'll likely to just privately archive the tape since I hate to destroy information.
