Description: Looking for an experienced Unix/Linux programmer to manage the technical components of a successful Internet buisiness. Advanced skills in Perl and SQL databases, preferably MySQL, are required.
Experience with revision control systems, e.g. CVS, is required. Experience with HTML::Mason and the Apache web server is desirable. Familiarity with Unix Sendmail and mail relays a plus.
Candidate will take over maintenance of a mature functioning web-based database system.
Required skills: -Advanced skills in Perl and SQL databases, preferably MySQL, are required.
-Revision control systems, e.g. CVS
-HTML::Mason and the Apache web server experience is desirable
Desired skills: Good communication skills and general writing are a must as well as the ability to work effectively with remote personnel. Desire to play larger role in growth of business.
Prefer candidate to live in Westchester County, NY or Tri-State area.
