Description: Wall Street Source is searching for Developers with a
background in database-driven applications who will play an important role
in the continued expansion of our real-time information services. These
opportunities require experience in Perl programming, with a focus on
web application development. Applicants should also have experience in
a highly-available environment. Required skills: * A minimum
of a BS/MS in Computer Science or 4-5 years of relevant programming
experience. * Extensive Perl development experience. * 3+ years RDBMS
experience, preferably with MySQL. * Strong knowledge of development
in a UNIX environment (Linux or Solaris preferred). * Past experience
in a large-scale, custom-developed, high-availability 24x7 environment.
* A track record of "getting things done" * Experience developing in a
test-driven environment. * Strong written and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working in a Unix (Linux) environment Desired skills:
* AJAX development experience, especially supporting multiple browsers
