YES I DID. Is that not amazing.
Sometimes I feel like the time zooms by, especially after 9-11, but now I have 4 teenage GNU advanced users in the house over 16.
Can you imagine that my teens have never used MS software for any significant purpose and they are all racing to adulthood now.
The first thing my daught Itka said when I handed her the Nokia N800 that we won was, "How do I get an xterm?"
After all this time my Wife finally asked me how she can get her website up. I dusted off the koowala book and the vim tutorials.
We just picked up an Asus EEE 2 gig system. My kids lined up asking for one. I think were going to have to pickup all the colors for a collection.
The system is pretty decent although I'm not in love with the single user interface. I got wmaker to run on it but I'm now rumaging under the hood of it now trying to figure out how they turned off the alternate counsels.
I'll show it off at Lake Placid next month at Freedom-IT.
