Even if I found the destruction that someone can cause with this command could be offset by some degree of humor, it is still not funny. It is old hat and very worn out.

That's generally a bad test, and not a sound philosophy. If you want an OS used only be a few highly trained (not necessarily educated) monkeys, then this is the right philosophy.
