As far as it goes, if you were solely interested in an archive, I'd just
drop all the binaries. As far as a MUA goes, you bet, none of them can
handle geek-sized mailboxes. I haven't run Evolution in a while, but
Thunderbird was much better at large mailboxes than Evolution was last I
ran both.
