My email is mlr52-at-mycouponmagic.com I respond though hangout for two reasons. 1. to keep everyone informed about the event. 2. I was using godady to host my domains and email. The past few weeks they have knocked out all my email accounts. And I have limitted access to them at this time. I am moving to 1and1.com
As to what I am trying to do a GNU/Linux by NYLXS usualy is a group effort. Starting with what Free Software, GNU/Linux and NYLXS is and does. Because this demo takes place during a computer class I would like someone to give a short explaination of how the command line gives you greater control of the computer. Short bit about programing. Security and virus as far as GNU/Linux is concerned. Someone to talk about the X windows and the gui interface. People to talk about and show some of the programs on the system. If we can get their attention we can have a installfest latter, we might even get them to start a LUG. (we will need to explain LUGS to). This Demo fits is with the Vison and Mission NYLXS. PS. It would be good to see guys.
