Thanks for your advise. The addresses listed for Richard Stallman, Rick Moen, John Mark Walker, Don Marti, and
David Fetter are all published email addresses, although you are very correct in pointing out that NORMALLY it would
be bad edicate.
Secondly, this is not an advertisement. This is an organizing effort for a regional program
which is in your region. Freedom-IT is not a business looking for customers. It is a newly evolving
conference inside your region which will be looking for volunters, speakers and particpants, and yes, Lake Placid
is within the normal traveling area of Boston. In fact, that is why Lake Placid has been chosen because it is already
accessed by car for locals from Quebec, New York, Boston and the MidWest, making it a good neutral ground.
The second message by RMS made clear that there might be a conflict with another program. Input from people in
your area is vital, and welcome.
I'll forward this to the PR chair for further input.
