If I may make a suggestion ....
Barring any one not being able to make it on any particular date, I
would suggest the First two weeks in February as it Winter Carnival Time
in Saranac Lake (town next to Lake Placid). The entire surrounding
cities are alive and vibrant during this time and also lends some
Diversion when we are not meeting in developer conferences, meetings
etc.

FOSDEM is the Free and Opensources Software Delevopers Meeting in
Brussles
Its dates are 23rd and 24th of February 2008.
