BTW - I have no idea how Staten Island became part of NYC, but Brooklyn join NYC on the CONDITION that access to Manhattan would be developed and maintained. That was the deal. It was cost the City of Brooklyn the development of its entire central business district which was subjegated to Manhattan development. How about paying to CROSS the Verrazono and then having to pay an ADDITIONAL 20 bucks because you have to share the fucking road with a bunch of gonzos from Conneticut, Westchester and Jersey.
