Hey Ruben,
I watched your video last night( http://www.nylxs.com/images/lug-ip.mpg ), I enjoyed it a lot you did a good job. I'm a member of Long Island Linux Users Group that meets in Farmingdale, NY.( www.lilug.org ) This organization doesn't do any activism or talk to politicians or anything like that, it's mostly technical talks. I'm interesting in activism and explaining to people issues like DMCA, software idea patents, how copyright laws affect society etc. If you ever have an event, or need some volunteers if I have time I would be glad to help where I can. Also are you teaching any classes anywhere? I'm in Bellmore, NY not sure if that is too far from where you might teach. Anyway thanks for taking the time to read my email.
Regards, John Teddy ( "sid" on irc.freenode.net )
P.S. You're invited to come to LILUG on January 9th. The meeting topic is steganography techniques. Not sure if it's too far for you to come out to Farmingdale, NY but if able you're welcome.( Our website is located here: www.lilug.org ;)
