Job Description:
This assignment will require a Lead developer for enhancing the
electronic Modeling and Simulation Tracking Evaluation & Reporting
application supporting a modeling and simulation group. Strong skills
in object-oriented software design and development with at least 6 or
more years in enterprise level. Extensive experience in developing
Perl, CGI applications in Unix/Linux environment. Knowledge of the
statistical analysis and modeling of scientific data and its application
in Population Pharmacokinetics area is strong plus. Strong ability in
parsing text files for information and presenting the information.
Hand-on experience with
UNIX/Linux utilities such as find/grep/awk/sed. Familiarity with
HTML/Javascript with ability to develop web based reports. Experience
with developing validated applications in Pharma R&D environment is a
strong
plus. Experience with generating RTF documents and Microsoft Word
Stylesheets, Macros, etc is a plus. Working knowledge of software
development life cycles, configuration management and best software
engineering practices. Experience in scientific application
development and functional knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a
strong plus. Background in pharmacology, medical science, or drug
development a plus. Ability to work both independently and also as a key
contributor in the cross-functional team environment. Strong analytical
and technical skills with ability to deliver the required reporting
system within timeline and budget constraints. Poise, maturity and
communication skills necessary to interface productively with both
internal clients/scientists, project coworkers, and other Informatics
personnel.
