Bonus Description: Our client a young fast growing company is seeking people with Unix/Linux experience to join a team of Linux technicians to provide telephone support for various clients. Multiple positions are available for different levels of support (Level 1, 2 and 3 - senior admins). Excellent benefits, casual, fun environment, relocation assistance available.
# Required Skills: Preference is given to candidates with strong leadership qualities and demonstrated competence with one or more of the following: - DNS fundamentals, including diagnostics with Unix tools - Network fundamentals, including diagnostics with Unix tools - RedHat Linux - FreeBSD 4.x - Sun Solaris 7 and 8 - Apache 1.3 and/or 2.0 - Sendmail - Qmail & VPopmail - Wu-FTPD - OpenSSH daemon and client - Plesk Control Panel - Generating and managing SSL certificates using openssl
Required Skills and Experience: 1 - 5 years Linux work, may consider someone with no work experience, but is strong in Linux systems admin (maybe someone just of school, and worked at home on Linux machines). Excellent communications - no accent, since work involves doing telephone support and customer needs to understand. RHC certification a plus College degree a plus
